Baseball Recap: Coal Ridge's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 14

Coal Ridge extended their winning streak to 14 on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 18-2-1 in the process. They blew past the Rifle Bears 13-3. Considering the Titans have won 17 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

George Roberts was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Coal Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in 14 consecutive contests.

As for Rifle, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

On Rifle's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robbie Magnuson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coal Ridge will welcome Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Rifle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Battle Mountain at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
