Volleyball Recap: Central Has No Trouble Against Baystate Academy

The Central Golden Eagles made easy work of Baystate Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.

Yarielis Cordero paced Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Cordero got some help from Mayanah Cabrera and her 18 assists. Cabrera also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elaine Nunez, each putting up seven.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Baystate Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Central will challenge Belchertown at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baystate Academy, they will take on Frontier Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
