Baseball Recap: Kohler's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Kohler had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters. The Blue Bombers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Resorters, too.

Kohler's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Case, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Case is on a roll when it comes to doubles, as he's now hit two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Kohler's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Kohler will face off against St. Mary's Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, they will challenge Reedsville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
