Basketball Game Preview: North Hills Indians vs. Seneca Valley Raiders

The North Hills Indians will face off against the Seneca Valley Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

North Hills is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Butler just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Tornado.

Meanwhile, Seneca Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They had just enough and edged the Tigers out 53-50. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Tigers are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Seneca Valley pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for North Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
