Basketball Game Preview: Carrollton Warriors vs. Indian Creek Redskins

The Carrollton Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Indian Creek Redskins at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Carrollton blew past Alliance, posting a 66-4 win. That 62 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They strolled past the Beavers with points to spare, taking the game 53-34. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Beavers are ranked 579th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carrollton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Indian Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Carrollton came up short against Indian Creek in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 55-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Indian Creek's Mckenna Scott, who went 8 for 17 on her way to 27 points in addition to seven assists and five steals.
