Basketball Recap: Gibraltar Takes a Loss

Gibraltar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 65-41 to the Two Rivers Purple Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Purple Raiders are ranked 182nd).

Gibraltar's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Two Rivers, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Gibraltar has already played their next contest (against Oconto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Two Rivers will be playing in front of their home fans against Roncalli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
