Volleyball Recap: Horizon Science Academy Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Horizon Science Academy faced off against Liberty Christian Academy on Monday. The Hawks came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14, 25-5.

Horizon Science Academy dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Liberty Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Horizon Science Academy and Cornerstone Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Delaware Christian on the 30th.
