Baseball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Bishop's Knights

For the second straight game, Classical Academy will face off against Bishop. The Caimans are taking a road trip to challenge the Knights at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Classical Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Classical Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Bishop's.

Chaeton Revilla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Classical Academy is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 7-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Timothy Gosselin was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Sammy McNemar also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Classical Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Classical Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Bishop's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
