Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley Catholic). They blew past the Vernonia Loggers 26-4 on Monday. Considering the Valiants have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Vernonia, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Coming up, Valley Catholic will head out on the road to take on Neah-Kah-Nie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vernonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
