Football Game Preview: Cloudland Highlanders vs. Sunbright Tigers + How To Watch

The Cloudland Highlanders will square off against the Sunbright Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cloudland has given up an average of 34.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Cloudland and Cosby meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Highlanders lost to the Eagles at home by a 38-22 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunbright). They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Unaka 40-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

The win snapped Sunbright's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for Cloudland, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Cloudland against Sunbright in their previous meeting back in September of 2020, as the squad secured a 42-14 victory. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
