Volleyball Game Preview: Kingsway Christian Eagles vs. Wayside Christian + How To Watch

The Kingsway Christian Eagles will square off against Wayside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayside Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kingsway Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Kingsway Christian beat Coshocton Christian 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kingsway Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Kristen Lilley, who had five aces and four digs. Amore Immel also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Kingsway Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Wayside Christian came up short against Kingsway Christian last Monday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 22-25, 25-20.

Kingsway Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Wayside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kingsway Christian beat Wayside Christian 3-1 in their previous meeting last Monday. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do Wayside Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
