Baseball Recap: Monett Comes Up Short

Monett lost against Logan-Rogersville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cubs came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-2.

Monett saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Seitz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Monett dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Logan-Rogersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Monett will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logan-Rogersville, they will venture away from home to challenge Bolivar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
