Basketball Recap: Kingsley Takes a Loss

Kingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Charlevoix Rayders, falling 61-37. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 581st, while the Rayders are ranked 183rd).

Kingsley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Charlevoix, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kalkaska the next time they take the court. Kingsley will host Kalkaska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Charlevoix will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
