Recap: Crosspoint Christian vs. New Life Christian Crusaders
Crosspoint Christian won the last time they faced the New Life Christian Crusaders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Crosspoint Christian walked away with a 60-53 win over New Life Christian. The win made it back-to-back wins for Crosspoint Christian.
Crosspoint Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Murray, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 30 rebounds. Murray is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Stroup, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Crosspoint Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for New Life Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Crosspoint Christian will head out on the road to square off against Liberty Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday. As for New Life Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Louis HomeSchool P at 5:30 p.m.
