Recap: Louise Hornets vs. Navasota Rattlers
The Louise Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Navasota 55-18. While losing is never fun, Louise can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1227th, while Navasota is ranked 379th).
Hannah Ochoa was Louise's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Natalie Roades held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. Roades took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Louise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Navasota, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.
Louise will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against East Bernard at 9:00 a.m. on December 8th. As for Navasota, they will take on La Grange at 3:40 p.m. on Friday. La Grange will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
