The Tri Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Eastern Hancock Royals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tri is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Tri proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Northeastern 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since June 1, 2024.

Macey Ballard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lyla Williams was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
Eastern Hancock not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024 (when they won 22-2). Everything went their way against Wapahani as they made off with an 18-0 victory. The Royals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Nieko Engleking and McKenna Stewart made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Engleking pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Stewart pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Engleking went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Stewart went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave Stewart a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emree Truitt, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Headlee, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
Eastern Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Eastern Hancock's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Tri, their record is now 6-1.
Tri couldn't quite get it done against Eastern Hancock when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
