Basketball Game Preview: Dupo Tigers vs. Lebanon Greyhounds

Dupo is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lebanon a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Dupo Tigers will host the Lebanon Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dupo is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Red Bud on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dupo was beaten by Red Bud 73-38. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Teegan Hargrove, who posted nine points. Kaden Scheppleman was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Lebanon took a blow against Christ Our Rock Lutheran on Wednesday, falling 76-42. The Greyhounds were down 69-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Dupo will have to keep a close watch on Deion Washington and DeVaughn Ware, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lebanon's prior game. Washington earned 15 points, while Ware put up 14 points.

Dupo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
