Basketball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

Piedmont entered their match against Edmond Santa Fe on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Piedmont Wildcats took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 68-59.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Edmond Santa Fe, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-11.

Coming up, Piedmont will venture away from home to challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Edmond Santa Fe has already played their next game (against Edmond Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
