Basketball Recap: Mountlake Terrace Comes Up Short

Mountlake Terrace lost against Shorewood back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mountlake Terrace Hawks came up short against the Shorewood Stormrays, falling 50-29. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaliyah Dyson was Mountlake Terrace's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Dyson also led the team in assists with three. Emma Schmidt held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Mountlake Terrace's record is now 10-13. As for Shorewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Mountlake Terrace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shorewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monroe at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
