Recap: Hackleburg Panthers vs. Lynn Bears
The Hackleburg Panthers pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Lynn 66-60. Hackleburg has not had much luck with Lynn recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Leading Lynn to victory were Braylen Roberts and Cale Tittle. Roberts dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Tittle dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Roberts hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Cole Kelly, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Hackleburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lynn, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Hackleburg will head out on the road to face off against Brilliant at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Brilliant is ranked 441st, while Hackleburg is ranked 433rd). Lynn will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Phillips at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
