Saint Stephen's Episcopal had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The critical scores for Saint Stephen's Episcopal came from Jed Macarthur and Gage Fisher.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carson McBride and James Haley. McBride is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Saint Stephen's Episcopal received some extra help from Macarthur, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Coming up, Saint Stephen's Episcopal will welcome Cambridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Cornerstone Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
