Saint Stephen's Episcopal had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes by a score of 14-6 on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The critical scores for Saint Stephen's Episcopal came from Jed Macarthur and Gage Fisher.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carson McBride and James Haley. McBride is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Saint Stephen's Episcopal received some extra help from Macarthur, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Coming up, Saint Stephen's Episcopal will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cambridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they are taking a road trip to take on Cornerstone Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
