Preview: Goochland vs. Monticello
Goochland is 0-4 against Monticello since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Goochland Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Monticello Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Goochland will be strutting in after a victory while Monticello will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Goochland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over James Monroe. The victory was just what Goochland needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Monticello were a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of Albemarle by a score of 2-1.
