Soccer Recap: Lisle's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Lisle brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand Chicago Hope Academy a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Lisle as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Chicago Hope Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Emma Ryan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got Lisle back to even at 3-3. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Herscher's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Lisle's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
