Baseball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton managed to slip by Holmes the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Greendevils lost 14-4 to the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Greendevils' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Elias Lopez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Holmes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-21.

While Dayton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
