Highland is a perfect 10-0 against Antelope Valley since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Antelopes at 3:15 p.m. Highland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Highland took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Palmdale get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Arianna Young and Kenzie Martinez did most of the damage at the plate: Young went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Martinez scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Martinez has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Reyes, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Antelope Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to Lancaster.

Highland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Antelope Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything went Highland's way against Antelope Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Highland made off with a 10-1 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Antelopes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
