Cathedral had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed past the Hull Pirates to the tune of 42-7. With the Panthers ahead 35-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Cathedral's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taqaire Bell, who picked up 111 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 42 yards and one TD. Bell got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 92 yards. Another rusher making a difference was DJ Desir, who rushed for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cathedral was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Cathedral's record now sits at 4-1. As for Hull, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Cathedral will take on Bishop Stang at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hull, they will square off against Cape Cod RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
