Volleyball Preview: Bellevue Redmen vs. Ross Little Giants

The Bellevue Redmen are on the road again on Monday to play the Ross Little Giants at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Bellevue was able to grind out a solid win over Perkins, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Bellevue found their leader in underclassman Ellie Freitag, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for her.

Bellevue was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted was before the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Ross waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Ross was dominant in the first set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough Napoleon squad. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

The win got Bellevue back to even at 6-6. As for Ross, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
