Baseball Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Trenton Tigers
Dunnellon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to Trenton. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trenton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Tuesday.
Dunnellon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaumil Curvas, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was Curvas' first of the season.
Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Trenton, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
Looking ahead, Dunnellon will welcome South Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
