Anderson and Loveland are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Anderson Raptors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Loveland Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Anderson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Anderson came up short against Little Miami and fell 55-47. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Panthers are ranked 119th).

Anderson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Toby Strausbaugh, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 20 points and eight boards, and Trace Jallick, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 13 points and six assists. What's more, Strausbaugh posted two steals, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Brugger, who put up three points.

Loveland has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Winton Woods on Tuesday.

Loveland's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Anderson couldn't quite finish off Loveland when the teams last played on February 5th and fell 57-54. Can Anderson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
