Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Algonquin Regional). They took down the Marlborough Panthers 71-52 on Friday. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Panthers are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Algonquin Regional and bumps their season record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Marlborough, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
