Volleyball Recap: Cusick Comes Up Short

Cusick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Selkirk Rangers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rangers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Cusick's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Selkirk, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cusick is set to take on their familiar foe Inchelium at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Selkirk will face off against rival Wellpinit at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
