Soccer Recap: Eastern Randolph Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Eastern Randolph duked it out with Randleman on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 9-2 to the Tigers. Eastern Randolph have struggled against Randleman recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Eastern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Randleman, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Eastern Randolph and Randleman could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 429th) will meet North Moore (ranked 179th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Randleman will take on Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (334 vs. 165).
