Football Recap: Methodist Children's Home Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Methodist Children's Home's offense. They were beaten by the Vanguard College Prep Vikings 52-0 on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atreyu Sierra threw for 35 yards on three of seven attempts. Londen Bickham was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.

Methodist Children's Home now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Vanguard College Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Methodist Children's Home will venture away from home to square off against Oglesby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will head out to take on Veritas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
