Sanger won the last time they faced Whitewright and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Sanger had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 15-3.

Sanger's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Whitewright, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.

Sanger has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Krum on the 30th. As for Whitewright, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Howe on the 30th.
