Elberta had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Thursday.

Elberta's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for UMS-Wright Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.

Coming up, Elberta will be playing at home against LeFlore at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rattlers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.07 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against Robertsdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
