Volleyball Game Preview: Frontier Falcons vs. West Lafayette Red Devils

Frontier is 1-9 against West Lafayette since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. West Lafayette took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Frontier, who comes in off a win.

Frontier barely beat Carroll the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.

Frontier not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Carroll between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, West Lafayette didn't have quite enough to beat Elkhart on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for West Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
