Calvert has gone 8-2 against North Point recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cavaliers will challenge the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Calvert is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Leonardtown just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 7-3 to the Raiders. Cavaliers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Friday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, North Point was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Northern, falling 15-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.

North Point saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Blaney, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Calvert's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for North Point, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Everything went Calvert's way against North Point when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Calvert made off with a 17-0 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
