Basketball Recap: Chagrin Falls Comes Up Short

Chagrin Falls lost against Perry back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chagrin Falls Tigers fell 57-47 to the Perry Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Chagrin Falls lost, don't look at Ryan Curtiss. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 19 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. Curtiss' afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Difranco, who posted 12 points.

Chagrin Falls now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Perry, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chagrin Falls and Berkshire will round out the year against one another at at 6:15 p.m. on December 30th. As for Perry, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madison at 6:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
