Soccer Recap: West Philadelphia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tacony Academy Charter on Wednesday, West Philadelphia came back down to earth. The Speedboys fell 4-2 to the Prep Charter Huskies on Monday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but West Philadelphia couldn't quite close it out.

West Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Prep Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, West Philadelphia will head out to take on High School of the Future at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Prep Charter, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Frankford at 3:15 p.m. on October 3.
