Sibley-Ocheyedan's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on Friday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Royals. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, West Hancock strolled into their game last Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 57-8 victory over BCLUW. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Comets are ranked 252nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sibley-Ocheyedan dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Hancock, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
