It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Mount Miguel ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 76-71 W over the Clairemont Chieftains. The Matadors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mount Miguel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamell Willey, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerome Radcliff, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points.

When it comes to explaining why Clairemont lost, don't look at Grant Rine. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 21 on his way to 24 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Colton Daudet, who posted ten points.
