Basketball Recap: Osceola Piles Up the Points Against Lakeland

Osceola won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Osceola Indians claimed a resounding 64-20 win over the Lakeland Vikings. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Osceola's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Hamby, who posted 11 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Wood, who had eight points and five steals.

Osceola smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Lakeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Coming up, Osceola is taking a road trip to take on Appleton City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
