Georgia Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past the Westminster Christian Academy Lions with a 25-19 victory on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Generals, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Despite the loss, Westminster Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Ethan Townsend, who rushed for 103 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 100 yards and a pair of TDs. Asa Morecraft was another key player, picking up 76 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Georgia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Georgia Christian will square off against Sherwood Christian Academy on Friday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Westminster Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
