Gravette took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pea Ridge Blackhawks as they made off with a 27-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gravette can attribute much of their success to Gage Bottorff, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one score. Bottorff got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 65 yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gravette will host Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pea Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gentry at 7:00 p.m.
