Baseball Recap: Dobson Takes a Loss

Dobson extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 2-24. They lost 16-7 to the Browne Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Owen Murray made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run. Noah Giron also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

As for Browne, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

On Browne's side, they got a massive performance out of Axel Inzunza, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The Bruins are 9-2 when Inzunza posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Daniel Urias, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

As of now, neither Dobson nor Browne have any future games scheduled.
