Basketball Recap: Dupo Takes a Loss

Dupo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Red Bud Musketeers, falling 73-38. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Teegan Hargrove, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Scheppleman, who earned eight points.

Dupo's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Red Bud, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dupo will host Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season. As for Red Bud, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Okawville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Bud is facing Okawville at the right time seeing as Okawville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
