Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Center Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 22-25, 25-8.

Liberty Center found their leader in sophomore Brooklyn Mohler, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Mohler.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Liberty Center, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will welcome Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Swanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
