Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Panthers vs. Wewahitchka Gators
After only one run in their last game, St. John Paul II made sure to put some runs up on the board against Wewahitchka on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Gators by a score of 10-7. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Gators back in March, they had to take a 12-0 defeat.
AMANDA THOMPSON made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, D'NAE MOSSE was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. LANELL LOUIS also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
