 Paris is 1-9 against Booneville since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Paris Eagles have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Booneville Bearcats at 4:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Tuesday,  everything went Paris' way against Cedarville as Paris made off with  a  20-3 win.
 Paris let  Kort Tencleve and  Jestin Churchman loose on the outfield. Tencleve  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Churchman  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  home run and three  runs. Tencleve has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Dawson Nuiemier, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Booneville entered their tilt with Two Rivers with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Gators onto the board and left with  an   18-0  victory  on Friday. Booneville's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Paris is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season. As for Booneville, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5.
